It's an away game for most of the football players on UAB roster this week when the Blazers visit South Carolina for a nonconference game.
However, a pair of Blazers - cornerbacks Marquis Coleman and Terrell Springs - will feel right at home when the Blazers arrive at Williams-Brice Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Coleman and Springs, who are cousins, grew up in Chester, S.C., which is about 50 miles north of Columbia.
Coleman made the short trip to Columbia on plenty of Saturdays in the fall to see his older brother, Chris White, play center for the Gamecocks. White was a four-year letterman and one of the team captains of the 2006 team.

Springs, a 5-foot-9, 175-pound true freshman, finished his high school career at Williams-Brice Stadium last December when he helped Chester High to the school's first state championship football game since 1963.
If the trip back home doesn't stir up memories, then they can look across at the opposite sideline to spot former high school teammate and close friend C.C
